In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(4)H(12)N(2) (2+)·C(6)H(6)O(7) (2-)·H(2)O, the cations, anions and water mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular N-H⋯O, O-H⋯O and weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network. An intra-molecular O-H⋯O inter-action occurs in the dianion.
